About the Workshop:
Understanding Funders’ Expectations for Evaluation
There are many reasons for a nonprofit to evaluate its performance and outcomes, including gathering the information that helps in serving the community as effectively as possible and also enabling the organization to report on its impact to funders, board members and other stakeholders. This workshop helps attendees understand the evaluation vocabulary typically used by funders (like the difference between outcomes, indicators and measures) and also how to develop a straightforward approach to measuring and reporting on impact that aligns with funders’ expectations.
