| Lauren Holder, the owner and founder of Social Media by Lauren since 2017, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a Minor in Entrepreneurial Studies from Missouri State University. Complementing this, she earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, showcasing her commitment to serving the greater Springfield community.
Her social media journey commenced with managing a local boutique, sparking a fervor for social media management. Over 3.5 transformative years at The Arc of the Ozarks, Lauren transitioned from a program manager to the dynamic role of Marketing and Development Coordinator.
Lauren also served as the Graphic Design and Media Specialist for the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland during the height of the pandemic. As a long-time member of the Association for Women in Communications Springfield, Missouri Chapter Board of Directors, Lauren has assumed various pivotal roles, including President, Marketing Chair, and her current role as Secretary.
In her marketing capacity at The Arc of the Ozarks, she not only mastered social media account management but also delved into self-taught graphic design and excelled in content curation. The inception of her business marked a milestone as Lauren has effectively overseen 30+ social media accounts. Specializing in alleviating social media stress for small business owners and non-profit organizations, she prioritizes steady organic growth through strategic content, engagement, and branding.
Remarkably, her clients witness a 50% annual increase in likes, follows, and engagement. Lauren’s commitment to perpetual learning is palpable in her pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement, drawing insights from experiences like the Social Marketing Training at the Hootsuite Academy. Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Lauren is a PLPC, Mental Health Counselor, contributing to the mission of Ozark’s Counseling Center to provide mental health services regardless of the ability to pay. |
