“So You Want to be a Director”

 
This workshop will focus on the challenges, responsibilities and journey of aspiring to be or becoming a director.  Beyond the usual discussion points (new role and new rules) there is a key administrative mindset necessary to succeed as a director and we will explore the “pivot” that must occur to succeed a new director.  Session attendees will discuss the critical “stepping up to supervision” protocol and the three key issues related to supervision and program management:  Communication, Expectations and Conflict Resolution.
