Have you ever experienced Imposter Syndrome? Even strong leaders sometimes doubt their abilities, especially during the uncertainties of the last two years. The presenters will authentically share how Imposter Syndrome has impacted their leadership journeys, and how they’ve used the social change ecosystem map to release and reframe. Participants will learn how their skills and talents are making an impact despite their internal doubts, as well as how to accept their accomplishments. This session will show that you are not alone in experiencing Imposter Syndrome, but it will also give you the tools to understand how your work fits in the broader nonprofit ecosystem.

Lyndsey serves as Senior Director of Development at Oasis, an organization dedicated to healthy aging through lifelong learning, healthy lifestyles, and civic engagement. At Oasis, Lyndsey oversees national fundraising efforts and strategy. Previously, she served as Development Director at The Mission Continues. She was their first full-time fundraiser and grew revenues from less than $1M in 2009 to more than $10M in 2014.
Lyndsey is Immediate Past President of St. Louis AFP and has been involved on a number of committees and board positions since 2009. She earned her CFRE in 2012, her Masters in Public Affairs from Mizzou in 2011, and a BS in Public Relations from Missouri State University in 2005.
In 2014, Lyndsey was recognized by St. Louis AFP as the Young Professional Fundraiser of the Year. She is also a former Chamberlain Scholar and was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 Under 30 list in 2011. Lyndsey and her husband live in Ballwin with their two young children.
