Gateway Center for Giving and Network for Strong Communities present:
Missouri Common Grant Application (CGA)
Version 2.0: Orientation for Nonprofits
The Gateway Center for Giving is pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Missouri Common Grant Application (CGA), a popular grantmaking tool that allows grantmakers and grantseekers to work from a common set of questions and definitions that reinforce solid nonprofit and philanthropic practices. CGA Version 2.0 incorporates important questions that reflect a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). A DEI framework informs the work of both grantmakers and nonprofits and offers a mechanism to address the profound disparities in opportunity that exist for marginalized groups.
Join us for a free orientation to the Missouri Common Grant Application (CGA) Version 2.0, during which staff from the Gateway Center for Giving and the Network for Strong Communities will present on how to effectively use the tool. Nonprofits that are considering submitting grant applications to foundations that accept CGA are encouraged to join us for this session.
At this session, attendees will:
Become acquainted with the structure of and changes included in the CGA Version 2.0;
Have an opportunity to ask questions about the CGA Version 2.0’s format, and
Learn about how the CGA Version 2.0 can and should be used by grantseekers.
