About the Presenter: Kent Hornberger
Kent Hornberger is a Certified Grant Professional with over 40 years of experience in nonprofit management and fund raising.
Kent currently serves of the national board of the Grant Professionals Certification Institute that is dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector’s ability to pursue and maintain public and private sector funding by promoting competency and ethical practices within the field of grantsmanship.
He has held leadership positions in other professional organizations including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Jesuit Advancement Association.
Kent has taught courses on the principles and practices of grant writing/management, critical analysis skills, communications, ethics and project management at several St. Louis area colleges and universities. He has been a frequent workshop presenter at both regional and national conferences of the Grant Professionals Association and other professional advancement organizations.
