How to Apply for a Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis Grant

October 20, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

For those who plan to apply to Lutheran Foundation for funding, this in-depth three hour workshop is a helpful overview of what we consider to constitute a strong grant request and what information we look for in applications. Lutheran Foundation staff will review each section of the application and describe the rationale for the questions, how to answer the questions for various types of projects, and give examples of what to include in your application. Key to a strong application is the quality of the project’s Logic Model and Evaluation Plan. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to learn more about Logic Models, outcomes, and evaluation, and the role they play in developing strong programs and cohesive grant applications. This workshop is perfect for organizations seeking Lutheran Foundation funding for the first time, and for new staff of current and past grantees. Free parking and light snacks will be provided. Pre-registration is required; visit www.LutheranFoundation.org/events. Please register each person separately. Due to room size limitations, we ask that no more than two people per organization attend the workshop.
