So often we hear someone say “That’s a great idea, we should write a grant for it”, yet the process of seeking and securing grant funding can be daunting, especially when it comes to applying for and administering state or federal grants. The objectives of this workshop will be to discuss the grant writing profess for state and federal grants from abstract to annual reporting. During the workshop we will review state and federal grant prospecting and proposal reviews. We will discuss the importance of pre and post award planning for state and federal grants as well as making the decision to pursue or not to pursue or when to “wait for the next cycle” before applying for and anticipating state and federal grant dollars for that great idea.
