Join us as we explore, in detail, the Statement of Financial Position and the Statement of Activities for a nonprofit. Don’t know what these terms are? No worries, no experience necessary! Come with questions and leave with a basic understanding of the most common financial statements and terms used in nonprofit financials. This is a great workshop for anyone who wants to be able to “read” and understand internal monthly financial statements for a nonprofit organization.
 
About the Presenter: Wendy Bell
Wendy Bell is the CFO for Network for Strong Communities. In addition to Wendy’s role as CFO, she heads up the bookkeeping department which provides monthly bookkeeping services to nonprofits at below market rates.
Wendy has worked in the nonprofit world for over 7 years. Before that, she was a CPA in public accounting.
In addition to playing with numbers, Wendy loves to play in the dirt by growing flowers and vegetables and play all kinds of sports!
