This class is designed to address the challenges often experienced by grant writers working at small to mid-sized nonprofits. The instructor will share best practices for budget creation, tracking, and modifications as they relate to grants. Participants will receive templates and examples of what the instructor has seen work at other nonprofits.
Participants should have some grants experience for maximal learning.
About the Presenter: Fielding Jezreel
Fielding Jezreel specializes in helping nonprofits plan and apply for federal grants. Using her passion for program planning, Fielding helps organizations streamline their grant funding strategy and pursue federal and other nationally competed grants. She also coaches early career grant writers.
Fielding has worked in the grants field since 2013 and has raised over $40 million for nonprofits and government agencies. She has a Master of Social Work degree from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. She served three years on the board of the St. Louis Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association and continues to support the Programs Committee to develop high quality professional development opportunities for grant professionals.
