About the Presenter: Kent Hornberger
Kent Hornberger is a Certified Grant Professional with over 40 years of experience in not for profit management and fund raising.
Kent currently serves on the national board of the Grant Professionals Certification Institute that is dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector’s ability to pursue and maintain public and private sector funding by promoting competency and ethical practices within the field of grantsmanship.
Kent has taught courses on the principles and practices of grant writing/management, critical analysis skills, communications, ethics and project management at several St. Louis area Colleges and Universities. He has been a frequent workshop presenter at both regional and national conferences and is a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Missouri St. Louis where he teaches a graduate level course in grant development and writing.
