IQ vs EQ: Why Being Smart Isn’t Enough to Be Successful (An Introduction to Emotional Intelligence)
Successful supervisors, managers and executives are often distinguished by their ability to successfully manage themselves and others.  Said another way, they are socially and emotionally intelligent.
It’s true, growing research shows that it’s not enough to have good technical skills or a high IQ; but possessing the competencies of social and emotional intelligence  self-awareness, self-management, awareness of others and relationship management overwhelmingly distinguishes outstanding leaders from average performers.
In this introductory workshop, participants will be introduced to a simple but proven model for understanding, developing and applying the competencies of emotional intelligence to enhance their effectiveness.
“Emotional intelligence isn’t a luxury you can dispense with in tough times. It’s a basic tool that, deployed with finesse, is key to professional success.” – Harvard Business Review
