Meet the Keynote Speaker: Jason Bockman
The Gateway Conference on Philanthropy is honored to have Jason Bockman, co-founder and owner of Strange Donuts and co-founder of Strange Cares, a non-profit dedicated to helping and empowering kids, as the 2016 keynote speaker. Jason’s road to success as an entrepreneur and philanthropist was not paved with rainbow sprinkles; with encouragement and mentorship Jason was able to overcome the significant odds that were stacked against him to build a business that has redefined the culinary and cultural landscape of St. Louis.
In his keynote address, Jason will reflect on how the challenges of his youth have shaped who he is today, share his message of how small acts of philanthropy can have tremendous impact, and why we should all be nice and stay strange.
Two days of pre-conference programming will also be occurring, the CFRE review course August 29 & 30 and Fundraising 101 & 102 on August 30.
