Calling All New and Young Professionals (No Matter Your Age): Development 101 – Getting Started on the Right Foot!

February 22 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

ABOUT DEVELOPMENT 101

How do most of us learn about development? On the job, that’s how. That can be a good thing…or a disaster! Come spend time with Linda Haley learning about the basics you’ll need to figure out which development positions are right for you, learn the fundamentals early so you’ll have a firm foundation for your development future, and avoid any unnecessary pitfalls.

We’ll talk about mentors – how to find, keep, and effectively work with them. We’ll strategize around development techniques and metrics so you can be prepared to tackle most development activities. And we’ll talk about nonprofit challenges and how to spot those that might be unmanageable and unproductive for you.

Come spend some time learning how to get started on the right foot!
